Nenthead Chapel Restoration Project

About Us

Nenthead Chapel Enterprise Limited (NCEL) is the name of the Community Benefit Society established to run the project and eventually, the new business. It was formed in 2014 and is now registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.

A Community Benefit Society has to be owned and managed by its members, the shareholders. To become a member of the Society and have a say in how the Chapel is run you have to buy shares.

Presently the project is managed by:
 
a board of 8 voluntary Directors (Society rules allow 3-12)
a board of 8 voluntary Directors (Society rules allow 3-12)
 
2 paid staff members – project manager and finance officer.
